I bought it for when I had the HeadRush Pedalboard which was a nice unit but not really on the same level as the KPA, but then it is half the price. I chose the FR108 as opposed to the 112 as id heard it displayed less bass. Headrush 108 vs 112 both performed very well when delivering bass guitar through. WebDec 17, 2024 · As far as loud goes though, the headrush 108 can get pretty loud, but with some amps/models, they get overwhelmed beyond a certain volume, and start to kind of fart out in the bass. The 112 would probably handle the highest volumes better, but I don't have direct experience to confirm.

The only place I think the 112 wins over the 108 is if you're going to use it as the main source of your sound for the audience - using it as your un-mic'd amp for the band.
